Privacy Policy

GigCircle ("we", "us") is part of the Circle family of apps, operated by TekPal (Tekpal Consulting Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad). GigCircle is a gig, part-time-job and tuition board for Hyderabad. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Your account is a shared Circle ID

GigCircle does not run its own signup. Your account is your Circle ID - the same phone-verified login you use across PGCircle and every Circle sibling app. We collect your name and mobile number via one-time-passcode verification, proxied to pgcircle.org, which owns and secures that identity.

What GigCircle itself stores

• Gigs you post: title, category, pay, area, and description.
• Applications you send: a note to the poster and your application status.
• Reports and blocks you submit, to keep the board safe.

This is app-specific data, separate from your Circle ID account. It never includes your GPS location - the "area" on a gig is a free-text label you type yourself, never device location.

How we use it

• To show your posted gigs and applications back to you and to the people you interact with (e.g. a poster sees an applicant's name and phone once they apply).
• To keep the board safe - reviewing reports and enforcing blocks.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal data.
• We do not run any advertising SDK and do not share your data with third parties for their own advertising.
• We do not access your device's precise location.

Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

Your rights & data deletion

You can delete your GigCircle data (posts, applications, reports, blocks) at any time from Profile > Delete my GigCircle data - this removes only GigCircle's own rows and leaves your shared Circle ID account untouched. To delete your Circle ID account entirely, contact PGCircle. Email privacy@pgcircle.org with any request and we will respond within 7 days.

Age

GigCircle is intended for users aged 13 and over.
